Highlight begins pre-production of Jerusalem 3D Imax film

The Highlight Films production team has begun the pre-production of Jerusalem 3D IMAX, the first IMAX film ever to be filmed in Israel. The producers, Arcane/Cosmic, have chosen Highlight Films to provide the production services in Israel for the production.

The production of JERUSALEM 3D IMAX is the biggest and most expensive film project ever fimed in Israel. The production and its accompanying public programs is planned for 2011 and 2012 with an international release beginning in 2013.

JERUSALEM is an unprecedented education and outreach enterprise, comprising a groundbreaking and spectacular 3D IMAX film and a multi-year, multi-component, public education and outreach program in the world’s most prestigious museums and influential centres of education.
